Missy and her husband, Ken,  have been married for 34 years with two married daughters, a son in college, and two grandchildren.  

Missy and Ken moved back to the Texarkana area in 2005 and began looking for a sound Bible preaching church. After visiting several churches in town, they knew that FBC Texarkana was the place for them, because Jeff speaks the truth and speaks from a heart for God. 

As a retired secondary education teacher, Missy's uses her gifts and experience teaching Sunday School at FBC for the past twelve years and has loves every minute of it,  expecially seeing 4th graders absorb the stories of the Bible and the love of Christ. In addition, Missy teaches a women’s Bible Study to the women in her family for several years.  

Missy joined the team in 2023, supporting our donor relationship stewardng, care and communications.
